After three years in Greenville, we’ve decided it’s time to plan our return to Los Angeles—back to the home, friends, and rhythm of life we’ve missed so much. Over the next year, we’ll begin putting everything in place for the move.
Of course, we’re not saying goodbye to the South East entirely. We’ll be back in Asheville several times a year—up to five visits, two weeks at a time—to stay a big and present part of Luna’s life.
While Greenville has its charm and plenty of green, the seasons here remind me too much of my Midwest childhood—beautiful but not quite my rhythm. And though I hoped for California-style access to endless trails, I’ve found the options here much more limited and segmented.
I’m looking forward to once again riding miles of open trails, feeling that West Coast freedom, and reconnecting with the land and people we love.
